Flowcore is thrilled to introduce our first open-source project! We are proud to announce our work on an open-source conference app, set to debut at Tonik in May
So far we’ve developed the app internally, as well as given IT students at The University of the Faroe Islands the chance to showcase their skills and actively participate in the project. However, as an open-source endeavor, we extend a warm invitation to anyone, world-wide, to contribute to its progress
We firmly believe that some of the most outstanding products emerge from the collaborative efforts of a passionate community. This belief is precisely why we have opted to establish this as an open-source project
Our own developers say that it has been quite surprising how quickly they began developing. Instead of a long planning phase with detailed diagrams, they quickly created some use-case diagrams, generated tasks, and started developing right away. Flowcore's support for unstructured schemas and data replay made the process surreal. They could easily create, adjust, delete, and replay models until they were satisfied. This has truly been a Data-Driven Development (DDD) experience
